The cabinets are amazing quality but dark wood with a scalloped valance above the sink, and a rail above the crown molding. The countertops are real granite but are an orange color, the opposite of my perfect white marble dreams.
All very opposite from my dream kitchen consisting of white and gray cabinets, white marble or quartz Torquay countertops, and brass hardware with soft gray walls, the perfect backdrop for all of my teal dishes.
So it makes perfect sense that the kitchen should get into the holiday spirit too with some fun Christmas decorations. Adding some fresh cedar sprigs with black ribbon to these jars was a super simple update. It takes such a small amount of greenery to add some cheer like this, I just snipped a couple sprigs from the cedar bush you can see out of my kitchen window.
This basket creates a nice centerpiece on the countertop that can easily be removed when it’s cookie baking time. Another great way to add a festive touch to your kitchen with little cost is to keep your holiday baked goods out for all to see.
