Ever since Fixer Upper became a part of our regular TV line-up and Chip and Joanna Gaines became the next Oprah, Farmhouse decor has exploded and I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon. As I’ve been curating my Amazon shop, I keep finding myself adding more and more farmhouse wall decor ideas, so I thought I would share some of them here to give you some ideas of fun ways to incorporate this trend into every room of your home. Gooseneck sconces are a perfect example of a more traditional farmhouse element that is popping up in very modern spaces. Similar styled sconces and a leaning ladder for blankets, paired with the ever-popular shiplap, are great farmhouse wall decor ideas incorporated into a very modern feeling bedroom.
Which is why I love to add antique pieces to most rooms I decorate…something that gives the space a sense of history. One or two items below in a room, mixed with other modern decor and transitional pieces will achieve that eclectic farmhouse look without looking cheesy.
