Taking into consideration the limited space that most apartments offer these days, it’s close to impossible to afford sacrificing an entire room in order to turn it into a study area. The last thing a small bedroom needs is a desk that occupies the last of the free floor space, making the room feel crowded and suffocating. The bed can be hidden inside a raised platform and you can have the desk, a bookcase and everything else sit on top.
Climb the ladder to get in bed and forget all about work-related problems or homework by leaving the study area behind. You can also choose not to hide the study area or desk and rather make it a harmonious part of the room’s décor. The study area doesn’t necessarily have to be part of the bedroom or living room.
