Laura’s kids’ room is filled with budget friendly finds.While many of them were thrifted/Craigslisted, many are from two of our favorite go-to’s for low budget decor: Target and IKEA.If something isn’t tagged it is either vintage or no longer available, but I tried to find similar items for several things.This room is proof that a mix of items and price points is really important for a space to feel interesting.Breaking the gender norms the room has areas that lean more feminine and spots that are clearly more masculine, but they all work so beautifully together.

Max & Mila's Shared Nursery
A friend sent Mila the red star blanket which ended up working out perfectly in the new red and aqua shared nursery.My mom made a few crib sheets before Max was born, so we are using those plus a few store bought ones too.Besides the new to us red cribs, the almost black wall was the biggest change to the space.I knew we needed a bigger dresser for the shared nursery.The nursery has 2 closets which you might think is perfect since 2 kids share a room, but nope!
