The floor was now looking dull and the grout had also discoloured so time to call in Tile Doctor to breathe new life into the tile and grout.After twenty minutes it was worked into the slate and grout using a low speed bonnet machine fitted with a black scrubbing pad with the excess extracted using a wet vacuum.Once done the whole floor was then neutralised with more water to ensure there was no trace of cleaning product remaining on the floor prior to sealing.

New black floor tiles, grout not fully black
Lots of white stuff might not be grout if you've had other trades wondering around on it and they haven't protected the floor themselves if it's a bathroom/loo they're using or whatever.You just want to use a grout colourant on it.You tend to find black is usually more a charcoal anyway.I've never seen a deep black grout.Is it tiled to a wooden floor of some form?

We are building a home and have decided on porcelain wood tile for our entire first floor - Daltile Saddle Brook, color Walnut Creek.The grout options the builder has provided through Customs don't truly match the variation of colors on the tile and I'm left with either Saddle Brown #59 or Charcoal #60 to choose from - with a 3/16" grout line.I would like the grout to fully blend in to give more of that hardwood-look, however, due to the color options I'm left with, there will be contrast.I'm leaning towards the black as it looks rustic and mimics hardwood more than the lighter one but concerned that the 3/16" grout line will be too thick.
