DIY Accent Wall for under $100!

I’ve been wanting to do something to the horribly ugly back wall behind our bed because I detest that awful paint color our home came with.But I digress…I knew I wanted it to be a statement wall and normally for me, I like to go bold when doing statement walls.

#marriageNonetheless, for under $100, we were able to transform our room completely by just adding an accent wall!

Then, Rudy cut down and sanded the pieces of wood to size, because we wanted to frame the wall before adding in the middle gridlines.

With under $100 and a couple of evenings of DIY’ing, you could change the tone of any room in your house with this little project!

I wanted shiplap on the bottom, a dark green above it, and I wanted a shelf.So the faux shiplap went up.
