So, I’m aware that corner fireplaces are not optimal, and I’ve tried numerous furniture orientations since we’ve lived in our house.Our TV is currently above our fireplace, which we don’t mind, as we tend to lounge if actually watching TV, so it doesn’t bother our necks.However, if it works better for the layout of the room, I’m open to moving the tv to the wall next to the fireplace.I like our current layout, but I just moved our sectional to make this work, and don’t love the look of it if we aren’t actually using the “sectional” feature, so I’m open to selling it and buying new furniture.

I’d like any ideas on other furniture placement, to allow more than 5 seats, or also advice on what pieces of furniture would look better together in the current placement.

I've looked all over Houzz and read other discussions but I'm still stumped.The TV will be above it, and the components will go in the boxes behind the TV (which will swing out).I like the idea of a sectional or two smaller sofas with a table between - like the pic below.

But then what do I do to the left and right of the fireplace?

I think the left wall needs something more than artwork, and the other more than window treatments.Or do I put one side of a sectional/sofa under the window?
