Once dry the Light Grey Grout Colourant was applied the grout lines with a small brush.

Everywhere in our home we have used dark grout with tiles.I had been meaning to try a grout pen for ages, in fact I bought one (via Rainbow chalk) and it sat unused on my desk for ages – partly out of nervousness but mostly out of lack of time.

Help! Dark or Light Grey Grout for Floor Tiles?

Originally I was thinking a dark grey for my Herringbone kitchen floor tiles but would a lighter grey be a better option aesthetically and to hide any imperfections.I installed the tile myself and it's my first tiling project ever so if there are small imperfections I don't want them too noticeable.

I need recommendations on grout colour for my new hexagon file floor.I am so torn between dark or light grout.

Does the corner grout line appear too thick?My contractor says if we had just chose white grout (like "everyone else") then none of this would be noticeable.I am sticking with grey grout.

My question is, should we use a white grout or caulk down the corners to keep everything looking 'clean'?

We will be using while caulk around the soap dishes for the re-do, you can see how thick grey grout is there.

Tiles just laid and grouted, but I don't think the grout colour's right!We chose a light grey grout to factor in dirt and darkening over time, but this looks almost white!Apparently it lightens coz of 'salt' in grout, you'd think they'd mentioned that when we were choosing :/Anyway, is there a way to change/stain grout darker, is it recommended or not, and should we bother or wait to see how it looks over time?

I was never really that motivated about designing the bathroom (bathrooms don’t generally excite me much) but I’m really liking the way things are shaping up.Okay, so it has a lot of the same elements as the bathroom does in Boston but I always liked that bathroom, so why not?

It’s a teensy-eensy space (so small I think it would be impossible to ever actually get a proper photo of it).

These are the in-progress photos — wainscoting installed (but not painted) floor tiles in and tiles for the shower surround are in.

I’m thrilled with my white subway tiles and dark grout.

I'm trying to choose grout color for my kitchen.I found a similar thread about this, but they were able to have very narrow grout lines which allowed for a bit of a compromise -- a little bit darker, but because the lines were narrow, less noticeable.

Because the edge of my tiles were uneven, my grout lines will be fairly noticeable.The tile is waterworks grove brickworks in bisque and I'm attaching two pics -- one which shows the back of the stove area and one that shows it behind the open shelves.I'm not sure if the pics capture the variation in the grove brickworks, so i've also attached a pic of that.

That’s actually the master bathroom floor going in because I didn’t get a progress shot of the kids bathroom, but it’s the same tile.

My goal was to have the grout color be basically the same color as the tile (just ever so slightly darker).I was convinced that they used the wrong grout color, so our builder came over to have a look at it himself.
