This main floor scramble remodel project was one of our most fun projects thus far.That's what you'll find throughout this main floor scramble, but especially here in the kitchen.

The stone accent wall runs adjacent to a shiplap wall, where a subway tile backsplash carries the torch through the kitchen.

Living Area: Cozy & ComfortableStepping into the living area, we wanted to bring in similar features from the kitchen, to ensure a seamless transition within this open-concept living floor.When viewed from the living area, the features flow seamlessly into the same features utilized in the kitchen.

Our New Build Three-Tone Modern Farmhouse Style Kitchen

This three-tone modern farmhouse style kitchen in a new build home packs a ton of storage and function into a small footprint.I’ve had a lot of readers and social media followers messaging me lately and asking me various questions about the new kitchen, so today I want to share a some details about our three-tone farmhouse style new build kitchen design as well as a peak at how I’ve styled it for Fall.In our previous renovation, we went with an Ikea kitchen and had our contractor do most of the installation.We ended up doing a 3-tone kitchen design, with white perimeter cabinetry, a coloured island, and wood features in the crown, range hood, and open shelving.

Namor custom cabinetry did a brilliant job on the custom wood shelves and wood toned crown moulding.

My kitchen and family room is a very open concept space that offers an abundance of natural light.There’s no end to imaginationin the kitchen.” ~Julia ChildCABINETSAt the center of my kitchen is this nine feet long island (9×5 feet).This is the first time I’ve had white cabinets, so I wasn’t initially sold on just an all-white kitchen.

Also, the painted linen grey color on the island adds the perfect amount of contrast and is on-trend with today’s modern farmhouse kitchens.

The Beach Glass tile is more of a light taupe grey and not stark grey like the Platinum tile.
