Should I paint my closet doors the same color as the wall or the trim?

I am doing a bedroom that has two closets on the same wall (basically that entire 9' wall is made up of a small area of drywall on the left and right ends and in the center of the wall...the 36" doors are the majority of the wall.So, it looks like this:--wall--trim/door--wall--trim/door--wallI am painting the walls a tan (Benjamin Moore Monroe Bisque) and the trim is off white.

The room is small 9' x 16" (not including the 2' of closet space...it would be 18' if you counted that).

Should I paint the doors the same color as the walls (tan) or same color as the trim?

The attached picture is NOT of my room, but one I found online that seems a bit overwhelming to me.

Should I paint sliding closet doors same color as wall?

The walls and ceiling will be Revere Pewter (gray) and the trim will be white.We've got a wall that is made up mostly of closet doors (12' wall with 8' consisting of doors).Should I paint them gray (including the trim above the doors) so they melt into the wall or should I pain them white (including the trim above the doors) to match the rest of the trim and two doors in the room?

Painting dated closet doors?

We're updating for a home sale.Our hollow CLOSET doors look similar to this and instead of full replacement, I was thinking of ideas with paint or trim.

Our walls are white.

So far I've found these pics.

Any other ideas?

Paint the inside of the closet or leave it?

I am wanting to paint this wall a warm grey.I want to draw attention to the odd shape of the closet but am unsure as to weather or not I should paint the inside of the closet.

The door is usually open and there is a east facing window shining light on it.

My concern with leaving it bone white on the inside is that it will break up the wall too much considering that I am not planing on painting the area around the door to the right of the closet.So, do I paint the inside or leave it?

We painted the hallway shaker beige which you can see between the white door molding and the peach color frame.We painted our family room downstairs shaker beige on walls and 25% shaker beige on the ceiling.If I did white doors what color should the frame behind the doors be?

Dark Gray Doors

I paintied all my interior doors dark gray and I LOVE them!Once your doors are off or you’re ready to start, you’ll need to figure out what type of paint is currently on your doors.

If it is an oil-based paint you’ll want to sand them down with 220 grit sandpaper if you’re using latex paint.Start by painting the inset areas of the doors with your brush, then paint the raised/flat areas and sides with your mini roller.
