Turning a bunk bed into a brooder!

I decided that I needed an outside brooder for all the chicks I have planned to hatch this season and for the 20 I have already hatched.There were a few things I still needed to buy to make this project complete and I was able to pick up the things I needed for $46.00.

I have had this metal bunk bed for my boys when they were little and then my granddaughters used it up until last year.I live in SC so the temps here right now are between the 80's and 90's and night temps are in the 70's.

This is my bunk bed brooder with a storage area on the top bunk I think I will change the roof by turning the board across it and adding another 4 x 8 beside it, tar paper it and shingle it.

To implement The Boys’ Room Makeover, we began by removing the clutter, discarding old broken toys and donating toys they no longer use.After decluttering the room, assembling the new beds, adding new bedding, touching up the walls and purchasing new storage bins for the boys to store their toys, our boys’ room makeover is complete.

After much thinking, I decided to keep the boys room as the boys room.They really do need the space, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to manage nap and bedtimes with the girly in there.

The idea is to get the plants to grow on top of the frame and the cucumbers, or whatever else you grow, will hang under the frame.The flowers remind me of Spanish dancers…And the fruit or tomato comes wrapped in a paper sack.

On the same leaf as the Lacewing egg, I also saw these…And these…Three different types of eggs on this one leaf.

Don’t remember noticing this before…The flowers on this plant are yellow and about the same size as this insect.This little guy was only about a 1/2″ long…Ever look closely at all the little tiny flowers of the Yarrow plant?
