Turning a bunk bed into a brooder!
I decided that I needed an outside brooder for all the chicks I have planned to hatch this season and for the 20 I have already hatched. There were a few things I still needed to buy to make this project complete and I was able to pick up the things I needed for $46.00.I have had this metal bunk bed for my boys when they were little and then my granddaughters used it up until last year.I live in SC so the temps here right now are between the 80's and 90's and night temps are in the 70's.This is my bunk bed brooder with a storage area on the top bunk I think I will change the roof by turning the board across it and adding another 4 x 8 beside it, tar paper it and shingle it.

The Boys' Room Makeover
So late last year, hubby and I, decided to give the boys’ room a makeover.Today I invite you to check out the boys’ room makeover. Before the boys’ room makeover began, we had to determine the entire look of the room.To implement The Boys’ Room Makeover, we began by removing the clutter, discarding old broken toys and donating toys they no longer use. After decluttering the room, assembling the new beds, adding new bedding, touching up the walls and purchasing new storage bins for the boys to store their toys, our boys’ room makeover is complete.
After much thinking, I decided to keep the boys room as the boys room. They really do need the space, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to manage nap and bedtimes with the girly in there. If you recall my last post on the subject, here are the before pics of the four corners of the boys room.Which space did I value most- the boys room or my pantry? It does make my pantry a bit crowded, but it is so nice not to have a freezer in the boys room anymore!
