Since this was not the owner’s main residence, she admits she felt free to be playful: “It meant I could bring more luxurious fabrics into the mix.

This simple approach and contemporary look, paired with layered, luxurious fabrics, has produced a beautifully cohesive space.

“The secret,” confides the designer, “is that the more texture (but not pattern) you add, the more lush your space will feel.”

With our move out of this house inching closer and closer, it’s time for the final room reveal: the family room!Because the room is so large, we split it into three zones: entryway, playroom, and family room.🙂The blue sectional couch serves as a room divider between the play area and the family room, helping make the most of this really large space.
