Not sure where to place an accent tile in a 7 ft wide walk-in shower.The shower has 6x18 subway tile - the accent is a coordinated color of stone and glass bubble (doesn't photograph well).

Option 1: Vertical stripe on shower head wallOption 2: Vertical stripe off center on back wallOption 3: No stripe, just place the tile inside the niche.

If so, then place long niche under shower head?No stripe, just tile inside niche - IF THIS ONE, then, go 7' across back wall or put under the shower head?

I requested vertical accent tile in a tub shower alcove we are having put in a guest bathroom.When I imagined the accent tile it was going to go through the middle of the wall.But my shower fixtures were centered with the drain kit on the tub which since the tub was 30” on a 32” wall it was not centered with the wall.So I had to decide if the tile would be centered with the drain kit or the wall-but if it was the wall all the shower accessories would be to the left of the tile.

The only option I had at that point and maybe still-is to ditch the accent tile completely and just get it regularly tiled.

we just redid our front bathroom and are moving on to the master bath in a few weeks.hubby wanted accent tile so we went with one in the front bathroom but i can't decide if it would be too much for the stall shower in our 3/4 bathroom in the master or would be a good choice - perhaps half size (we went with full in the guest bathroom so there wouldn't be half tiles of the main tile at the bottom or top).
