Hi, this is my cloe white tile (ungrouted) stacked with no spaces so that the grout line is approximately 1/16 inch or less.I really like the delineation between the tiles and want to choose a grout color that would do that without being too dark or harsh against the white.I was thinking of the Custom prism "driftwood" color.I'm also considering a darker grout called New Taupe.

Kitchen Diaries: Subway Tile Backsplash Grout Day 2

So when we left off yesterday the subway tile backsplash looked like thisand my kitchen looked like this.With the tile trim out of the question we had to find a way to cut the tile horizontally.It took about 30 minutes to cover the subway tiles with grout.

After waiting for the grout joints to firm as per the directions on the box of grout, we lightly cleaned with a damp sponge.

We still need to seal the tile but according to the directions we need to wait 3 days.
